So I FINALLY got all my Tarte for True Blood products so I could do a proper review for you all. I purchased all products with my own funds and my review is my honest opinion of the product (no matter how big of a True Blood fan I am :) )

Let’s start with the small things!

So this was actually my first cheek stain and I really liked it. I applied with my fingers and it went on pretty sheer and blended nicelyand also picked up the glitter pretty well. It is layerable and can be built up to be darker if more is applied. the glitter is fine and iridescent so it’s not chunky and garish looking when on your cheeks.

This lip tint has a nice minty feeling when applied to the lips and has somewhat of a mint taste to it. It showed iridescent on the lips like advertised and is a nice sheer red, which is also buildable to make it darker. It would work well for all skin tones, as it’s very natural, like a slight flush on your lips.

Booklet comes with 4 looks and instructions on how to get them.

The booklet also has a little cheat sheet of the eyeshadow names on the back.

Handy little naming sheet was over the shadows when you open them up.

Pretty! Nocturnal is hard to get to show up on the camera :P

Alright! The grand finale! These shadows are just beautiful! I really enjoyed the pigmentation on most of them. The matte’s applied very smoothly and are soft (in appearance and texture). The three I didn’t really care for were Immortal, Legend, and Nocturnal. The black just took too many tries to get as pigmented as I liked and the glitter in Nocturnal (which is blue) and in Immortal (which is silvery) fell out for the most part.

Now that I got my eyeshadow dislikes out of the way, here’s the skinny on the rest:

True Blood™ EmphasEYES Aqua-Gel Eyeliner in Black: I didn’t care too much for this gel eyeliner. It’s VERY sensitive to pressure and you have to have a very light hand when applying. It is a nice dark black, but I hate to use something I feel I could accidentally use up in like 5-10 uses. You tend to use a lot of product without meaning to because it’s so soft. Maybe it can be applied on an eyeliner brush first to try to save as much product as possible.

True Blood™ Lights, Camera, Lashes! Mascara in Black: I really liked this mascara! I liked it as much as my usual go to which is Benefit’s Bad Gal Lash. It separates, doesn’t leave my lashes clumpy and even lengthens them a bit. I didn’t notice too much in the volume department, but I did like this mascara.

True Blood™ Lifted Natural Eye Primer: I think I need to spend a little more time with this Primer. Upon first use, I didn’t really see much of a difference between this and Urban Decay’s Primer Potion (which is what I usually use). It’s not a bad primer at all, and I didn’t have creasing, so I won’t mind using it again.

The Light: A light champagne color with shimmer.

Fairy: A light pink champagne color with shimmer.

Dusk: A warm taupe matte color.

Dawn: A light gold color.

Werewolf: A sable brown matte color.

Waitress: A glittery peach shimmer with fine milled glitter. Glitter is peach in color. Doesn’t fall out.

Charmer: A glittery copper shimmer with fine milled glitter. Glitter is a copper color. Doesn’t fall out.

Glamour Me: A dark maroon color with shimmer.

Stake: A soft gray matte.

Bayou: A deep gold shimmer.

Telepath: A baby pink shimmer with fine milled glitter. Glitter is a light pink. Doesn’t fall out.

The True Death: A shimmery silver foil.

Moss: A deep forest green shimmer with fine milled glitter. Glitter is multi green (hard to describe). Very pretty and one of my fav’s in this palette.

“V”: Burgundy shimmer with fine milled glitter. Glitter shines a touch of purple in some light.

Would definitely recommend this palette! Just beautiful colors!
